Tusky announces upcoming EP ‘Pure Heart Sounds’ – a tribute to punk and DIY culture
Pure Heart Sounds was born out of the band’s desire to celebrate their deep-rooted love for punk culture. While their previous albums always featured some explosive tracks, this EP is a full-throttle celebration of the raw energy that defines Tusky.
“This is our statement, fully crafted by ourselves with no compromises,” says drummer and producer Bas Allein Richir. “We wanted to say what needed to be said without overthinking or over-polishing,” adds frontman Vladimir Stevic. “The process felt like a return to our roots. From writing to recording, it all came together in a way that filled us with energy.
